Servant Leadership Projects

Small preceptor groups are designed as seminar/discussion venues for the concepts introduced in the lectures of the main Servant Leadership course, SLD 1310.  In these groups, students learn how to become leaders by empowering others.

Students are required to complete 30 hours of service within their small group setting. This is accomplished by working with the other students in the group, planning events for projects, and actually working the events.

Some agencies Servant Leadership serves and/or has served:

Through these groups and working with their projects, students learn how to assume positions of responsibility, to lead, to make moral and ethical decisions, to serve; how to make a difference by using their God-given talents to provide help at every opportunity:that leadership is not an end in itself, because the most effective leadership serves society;how to become a leader who “gives something back” to the world.
