The Academic Enrichment Center (AEC), located in the Jay Rollins Library, is an integral part of the academic area of McMurry University. The AEC serves McMurry University by providing academic support and instructional resources for students, staff, and faculty in a comprehensive learning environment.

Developmental education courses are designed to facilitate the academic development of students at McMurry University. These courses assist students wishing to obtain the attitudes and the additional academic preparation necessary for university success.
In cooperation with the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) and Dyess AFB, McMurry University is making it easier than ever for active military personnel to earn their college degree.
Through the BlueStreak program, active duty military personnel can take selected courses through McMurry at the Dyess AFB campus, main campus or online. BlueStreak classes will count both toward the CCAF General Education Course component, as well as a full, four-year undergraduate degree from McMurry University or other schools.
The Library supports the academic programs of the University by securing print and electronic materials to meet the needs of the curriculum; organizing and ensuring access to materials added to the Library’s collections; providing instructional, reference, circulation, course reserve, and interlibrary loan services; and cooperating with other libraries to make additional resources available.
