“I came to McMurry in August of 1995, as a part-time writing tutor in the Academic Enrichment Center. I soon also became a part-time English instructor with the Orientation and Skill Development (O SD) Program. Then in 2000, the O SD program was reorganized under the title Developmental Studies (DEVS) Program. As the program continued to grow, my job expanded to full-time. I love the feeling of community I experience as a part of the McMurry family, and I appreciate the opportunity to work at an institution that is dedicated to Christian principles. I enjoy the challenge of helping students prepare for the rigors of college level writing, and I love watching them succeed in meeting their goals.”
